DESCRIPTION:NEW DATE: Please note that due to inclement weather\, this event has been postponed from July 29 to August 5. \n\n\n\nJoin VegFest and Worcester Vegan Meetup for a fun and free vegan potluck/picnic at Worcester’s Green Hill Park. \n\n\n\nBring a vegan dish or drink(s) to share with the group. Food shared must be VEGAN – please include a note with the dish’s title and ingredients\, as well as serving spoons and an ice pack to keep it cool if necessary. We will provide basic paper plates\, napkins\, forks/spoons.  \n\n\n\nIf you are not able to cook or your recipe doesn’t turn out\, no worries as a prepackaged vegan snack or fruit is an easy choice\, but no pressure! Just come out and enjoy the day. \n\n\n\nWe will try to set up in one of the covered pavilions if one is open. Optional things to bring: a chair\, picnic blanket\, personal sun umbrella\, sun hat\, sunscreen\, reusable water bottle\, outdoors toys such as hula hoop\, ball\, etc.  \n\n\n\nKids welcome! Each fridge station also features a small pantry with non-refrigerated food. \n\n\n\nHelp VegFest stock the fridges and shelves with vegan food by bringing any of the following food items to our potluck: \n\n\n\n\nFresh produce\n\n\n\nUnopened vegan frozen food\n\n\n\nPrepackaged vegan frozen meals\n\n\n\nPantry staples such as vegan bread\, sugar\, flour\, and canned goods etc\n\n\n\nPackaged and labeled vegan cheese\, milk\, yogurts\, etc\n\n\n\nPackaged and labeled vegan proteins (tofu\, hot dogs\, deli slices\, etc)\n\n\n\n\nPlease note that the community fridges cannot accept opened\, homemade\, or expired food.
