SUMMARY:Vegan Potluck Picnic in the Park
DESCRIPTION:Join VegFest for a fun vegan potluck/picnic at Shrewsbury’s Dean Park. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nBring a vegan dish or drink(s) to share with the group. Food shared must be VEGAN – please include a note with the dish’s title and ingredients\, as well as serving spoons and an ice pack to keep it cool if necessary. We will provide basic paper plates\, napkins\, forks/spoons. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nIf you are not able to cook or your recipe doesn’t turn out\, no worries as a prepackaged vegan snack or fruit is an easy choice\, but no pressure! Just come out and enjoy the day. \n\n\n\nWe will try to set up in one of the covered pavilions (north or south near the picnic grove) if one is open. Otherwise we will be on the picnic grove or grassy area. Enter via the main entrance and look to the right.  \n\n\n\nOptional things to bring: tent\, chair/s\, picnic blanket\, personal sun umbrella\, sun hat\, sunscreen\, reusable water bottle\, outdoors toys such as hula hoop\, ball\, etc. Kids welcome! \n\n\n\nFREE to attend. Donations accepted at the event. $5 donation suggested to support our mission. \n\n\n\nLet us know you will be attending!

Whip up your favorite Thanksliving dish and gather with like-minded community members to commemorate the holiday in the vegan way—by promoting compassionate living\, reflecting on the truth behind the holiday’s traditions\, and of course\, eating delicious cruelty-free food. Besides a plethora of potluck dishes\, we’ll have arts & crafts\, music\, a cash bar\, and door prizes. Ticket reservations for this annual celebration are expected to launch by Sept 1st.
